Advocare 10 Day Challenge Complete!

Woo hoo!  No more nasty fiber drinks!

All 5 of us made it through the first 10 days of the 24 Day Challenge in pretty good shape.  We have all lost more than 5 pounds each and more importantly feel like some things have shifted and clothes are fitting better.    Everyone is reporting that they, not surprisingly, are feeling much better than before we started and are reporting good energy.  I’ve had some very good workouts the past couple of days and really think the Spark is giving me a boost and keeping my apetite (normally pretty big) in check.

All in all it’s been a good 10 days and has gone by pretty quickly.  It was tough giving up my 2 vices, beer and coffee, I’m resuming the latter but going to continue to stay away from the extra calories in the former.   At least until the NCAA tourney starts.

To anyone out there in the future reading this wondering if they can stay focused and complete the 24 day Challenge I say go for it, what do you have to loose?  If I can do it with my very much ingrained bad habits and love of all things dairy anyone can do it.  Actually looking forward to trying the meal replacement shakes for the first time tomorrow and looking forward to some continued significant results out of the Max phase.

    Correction most of us completed the 24 Day Challenge, Pat aka ‘Beaufont’ conveniently misplaced one of his Fiber Drink packets so thought the Cleanse phase was over yesterday. No one is buying it. :) But he did manage to travel to NY for work, won a huge presentation contest (free iPads for his hole team) and managed to abstain from open bar and gourmet, high fat finger foods so we are cutting him some slack.
