Low Carb Shrimp FlatBread wrap with Avocodo E-mail

You can get fresh small/medium size shrimp (not Jumbo) from your grocery store or you can go the easy route and get a small tub from Cosco but make sure you get one that isn't soaked in butter or oil.   We got one from Cosco prepared with Cilantro and Lime and pre-cooked so it was a snap to make this great tasting wrap.   This is not a recipe for the 10 Day Cleanse phase but great for the 14 Day Max phase when you are looking for something akin to a tasty sandwich to satisfy your cravings.

The key to this light lunch was the spread / aoli.  Take just one tablespoon of Canola oil mayo (good fats) and mix with a quarter wedge of fresh Avocado. Just mush up the Avocado, add some garlic powder and stir in with the mayo.  Here is an online recipe to make Aioli from scratch without the Avocado. Use Flat Bread instead of a tortilla wrap.  Flat out flat bread light original (made with 100% stone ground whole wheat).  Spread the Avocado mayo on the flat bread, add a bed of lettuce and fresh deli style (fresh veggies) mild salsa.  You can do the pre-cooked shrimp cold or warm.  We through it a skillet for 2 minutes just to warm it.   Throw it in the wrap and enjoy!  One of the tastiest items we had during the 14 day max phase of the AdvoCare Challenge.

 
Southwestern Chicken Sante Fe E-mail

You don't have to settle for plain or bland food while taking the 24 Day Challenge.  This Southwestern chicken dish is perfect for the 10 Day cleanse portion of the 24 Day Challenge and of course good anytime thereafter.

Grilled chicken breast with Fajita seasoning served over whole grain rice topped with black beans, corn, tomatoes, red onion, fresh lime and fresh cilantro.  The kicker for this dish when you CAN'T have sour cream and cheese is fresh Avodado.  To spice it up a bit you can also add some salsa, the freshly prepared mostly veggie deli style is the best on this dish.  Very tasty when mixed all together with the chicken but of course low fat.
